“I get great satisfaction out of making beautiful objects out of gemstones and gold or silver”, says Roger about his jewelry designs.

Roger L. Theriault has been working with metals and making jewelry for over twenty years. He earned a B.A. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Roger makes many types of jewelry – all individual and one-of-a-kind based upon his original concepts.

One of his favorites is casting 14K gold or silver using the lost wax technique. He often sets genuine gemstones in the finished pieces.

Cloisonné enamel, a process of firing ground colored glass on a fine silver base, is another of his favorite types of jewelry making. He crafts bezels for each out of silver and often hand-makes chains to complete the designs.

Roger also enjoys fabricating wearable art out of sheet gold or silver, combining this with wire ornamentation, gemstones and chains.

He is a member of the Laguna Madre Art league.
